Jane founded Julep with a vision that beauty can and should be a fun and fearless experience for all women. Jane stands by Julep’s BRAVE PRETTY beauty ethos by continuously innovating with the help of real-time feedback from Julep customers, known as “Mavens,” and creating participatory moments worth sharing. Jane’s passion for giving women a voice is rooted in her own experience not having a voice when she first started school without being able to speak English after immigrating from Korea with her family.
Originally starting with three green & clean social beauty parlors in Seattle, Julep has evolved into a top-selling skincare & cosmetics brand fueled by a vibrant and engaged online community of Mavens. As “Chief Girlfriend,” Jane leads the conversation and co-creation with the Maven community through various social events such as monthly live streams, in-person meetups, and ongoing conversations across social platforms.
Rooted in Jane’s philosophy of empowering women to feel their most confident and beautiful, all of Julep’s products are developed to be on trend, effortless and good for you – also known as Jane’s Promise. Julep products can be found at Ulta, Beauty Brands, QVC, Nordstrom, Amazon, and of course Julep.com.
