Francesco began his career in magazine editorial at Harper’s Bazaar, where we worked until he suffered a crippling spinal cord injury in a swimming pool diving accident.
With his central nervous system impaired, Francesco was afflicted with clogged pores, chronic breakouts and an inability to naturally exfoliate. When neither over-the-counter nor prescriptive remedies worked, he turned to his father, Dr. Harold Clark, a physician trained in both traditional Western medicine and homeopathy and together they developed botanically-based formulas that effectively rebalanced Francesco's skin, clearing it up entirely.
Author of the new book Walking Papers: The Accident that Changed My Life and The Business that Got Me Back on My Feet (Hyperion), Francesco Clark serves as National Ambassador for the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation, which is dedicated to curing spinal cord injury by funding innovative research and improving the quality of life for people living with paralysis through grants, information and advocacy.
A percentage of profit from the sale of Clark’s Botanicals products benefits The Reeve Foundation.
